We would like to announce that this month's Member of the Month goes to Dr Rocco Lombardi.

Dr Lombardi has done so much for The Emergency Response Team - Search and Rescue (ERT SAR) and has actively deployed and supported the organisation and its missions nationally and internationally.

Dr Rocco Lombardi is a Medical Doctor, ERT SAR Canada's Medical Director and the Executive Officer (XO) He has been with ERT SAR since its inception in Canada, (some 6 years at the time of writing) with an exemplary attendance record. He is a highly regarded and committed member of the team and executive management. He is also in charge of several Captains and Team Leaders who run their own teams.

Despite his many professional commitments as a Medical Doctor and a very busy personal and family life - "Doc Roc(k)" is a pillar of the team and always available for essential functions and duties as well as the members and public.

Professionally speaking, Dr Rocco works in Emergency Medicine as well as Aviation Medicine. He is also trained in Tactical and Disaster Medicine. Dr Rocco is not only a highly qualified Medical Doctor, but is trained and qualified in a lot of specialist rescue courses including Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) and High Angle Rope Rescue.

He is a hugely valuable member and great asset to ERT SAR. We truly thank him for his constant dedication and service to ERT SAR and our mission objectives as well as being our XO.
